Today was such a beautiful day!  I woke up to the sun and cool breeze streaming through my window.  I enjoyed some reading on my front porch as well.  I had back to work tomorrow after two days off.

I enjoyed my weekend in DC.  It was a blast catching up with friends and family!  The girls had fun too, so much they got all muddy at the park.

I can't believe we are in the middle of March already. April is always a great time in my household. We celebrate two birthdays (my youngest & myself) and our wedding anniversary.  Can you tell I'm excited about April already?

Thank God it's Friday!  We're headed off to DC for our marriage retreat and I'm looking forward to catching up with family and friends.  I plan on checking out the Madewell in Georgetown while I'm there too.  It seems like it's going to be great weather in Pittsburgh while I'm away so I'm wishing you a great weekend filled with joy and laughter.

Tuesday was a glorious day here in Pittsburgh. The temps got up to 62 degrees but Wednesday the temps dropped again and it even snowed.  I can't wait to Spring officially arrives.  

I'm looking forward to my trip to Washington,DC this weekend.  My hubby and I are attending a marriage retreat.  The girls are traveling with us and will be watched by some friends while we attend the retreat. We're so grateful to have friends we can trust to watch our girls.

Once again it's snowing today, oh please Mr. Sunshine come for a long visit soon!

I'm excited about three events taking place at Madewell this weekend. Friday is our New Collection event showcasing all of our new Spring arrivals from 4-8pm, Saturday is our Spring Break event.  For all college students with a valid student ID receive 20% your entire purchase (Saturday only!). Last but surely not least is our Oscar's Party which I'm hosting at the store this Sunday from 2-5pm.  We are always looking for a reason to look all fancy pants so why not get all glammed up and join the fun!  We will have some bubbly and light snacks.  I hope to see you all there this weekend.  Sharing is caring so please spread the word!

It feels more like Winter than Fall at this point!  I'm thinking about Spring already. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons.  When the temps start dropping and it gets too cold I'm not a happy camper.  Anyway I'm keeping warm either way with my layers.

I wore this ensemble to work at Madewell.  I actually didn't wear a coat but could have used that extra layer later that evening after work. My scarf was not acting right in the photos.  Ok it's the middle of the week and I'm already looking forward towards the weekend! Stay warm and keep smiling, it's good for your teeth.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I can't believe tomorrow will be the 1st of October already, wow! This weekend was low key with a Sat. thrifting excursion with my girls and working yesterday.  Today my oldest daughter has a Cross country meet. let's go Midori! I'm looking forward to attend the Global Champagne Bond Party being held this Thursday at Perle in Market Square from 6-9pm.  I was invited to attend this charitable event by Kent Schmor.  What a fun and fashionable way to donate to local charities! The Charity: Water and the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank will benefit from the proceeds!  I'm not sure what I'm wearing yet but there's still time, it's only Monday.  To learn more details about the event and to purchase tickets visit the Facebook page here.

I had a great weekend with my family.  We enjoyed  baking, cooking  and attending church together this weekend.  I worked on Sunday and had a great time afterwards at the Roadie pop up event.  It was a blast shopping and dancing with friends.  Be sure to check out Roadie and keep updated with the haps on the official Facebook page here.
