Today is my oldest daughter's birthday. We started celebrating with a special breakfast and later on she requested homemade egg salad sandwiches for lunch.  We have other special things planned as well.  I enjoyed last weekend in NYC with my mom, dad and extended family.  

I wore this ensemble to work at Madewell this yesterday.

Today was such a beautiful day!  I woke up to the sun and cool breeze streaming through my window.  I enjoyed some reading on my front porch as well.  I had back to work tomorrow after two days off.

Come the Spring/Summer and I really enjoy wearing free flowing pieces!  I actually scored the now top I'm wearing in the photos above on Ebay but it was originally a nightgown and I cut & hemmed it to a crop top.

It's always hard to get back into the swing of things once you've been gone for a while.  As I've eluded to before life has been difficult and updating my blog hasn't been on my priority list.  I am looking forward to visiting my dad & mom for Father's Day weekend, which is coming up very soon!

Today it's suppose to reach in the 80s, oh yeah!  I'm off for the next two days, yippie.  Before too long summer will be here.  I'm looking forward to my trip to NYC for Father's Day and spending time with my family. Life is too short and family is one of the most important things in this life!
