Sunday was a fun day with a family road trip to drop off my oldest daughter at camp.  I'm excited for her that she gets to experience a week that is filled with fun and spirituality.  We got home pretty late and we are fighting a cold that is coming on.  The weather has been truly heavenly and it's get me more and more excited about cool Autumn days.

I wore this ensemble to work last Friday at Madewell.  I haven't worn my hair slick back with a low bun in a long time but I always think about the 1980s video "Addicted to Love" song by Robert Palmer when I do.  I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Tomorrow is the 4th and I'm praying for no rain so we can enjoy the fireworks.  The 4th of July is my hubbies favorite holiday and it's when we shared our first kiss ever over 14 years ago.  I'm working tomorrow and have the evening free to ring in the 4th.
I wore this ensemble to church on Sunday.  I can't remember the last time I wore my hair down.  When it's hot I don't want to wear it down nor do I make time to come through the curls so it winds up most of the summer.

Yesterday ended our streak of sunshine but it was much needed rain so I'm not complaining.  I spent my Tuesday with a dear friend.  We went to two of my favorite spots: Avalon Exchange & Thriftque.  We booth scored some good vintage items.  I'm sad to see her move back home to NYC but I definitely will be hitting her up when I'm in that neck of the woods.  I hope all is well in your world!

Spotted wearing:   On a sunny day in Shadyside getting my hair done.

The day I wore this outfit it was sunny and brisk which still equals happiness.  I got my hair trimmed and highlighted for my upcoming trip to PR. 

I noticed that wearing light makeup can achieve a more youthful appearance.  I decided to go very light this day.  That's all for now.  TGIF

Yes I wear glasses and yes it was still too cold to not wear tights but oh well.

I realized after I got dressed and left the house this morning that I got the weather forecast mixed up. I thought that today was going to be much warmer than it was, yikes. I was inside so I didn't freeze. I'm just ready for Spring weather!

Gosh we got more snow today and I'm sick of it already! The good thing it's pretty much melted away by now because the temps have been above freezing and sunny.  I plan on enjoying my weekend, it's suppose to be in the 50s and sunny on Saturday.  Do you have any weekend plans already?
