Fall is officially here and the cooler temps have just begun.  I'm off for the next two days and I will be playing catch up with house chores and Lagelle vintage listings in my Etsy shop.  

I wore this ensemble to work yesterday at Madewell. Wearing mostly Madewell is usually a rare occasion for me because I normally incorporate vintage somehow someway in my outfits.  I can't believe is the middle of the week already!

I had a great weekend with my family.  We enjoyed  baking, cooking  and attending church together this weekend.  I worked on Sunday and had a great time afterwards at the Roadie pop up event.  It was a blast shopping and dancing with friends.  Be sure to check out Roadie and keep updated with the haps on the official Facebook page here.

I wore this ensemble to work last week at Madewell. Yesterday was the official first day of Fall and it felt like Fall all weekend.  I already started putting away my summer clothes and breaking all the Fall/Winter layers.  I love to layer so I'm definitely in my element.

I enjoyed a breakfast date with my awesome hubby yesterday!  We ate at Coca Cafe in Lawrenceville and then picked up some amazing French pastries at La Gourmandine Bakery.  We had a conversation over breakfast about being able to enjoy times like this because both of our girls are in school.  I'm looking forward to more breakfast dates with my sweetheart in the near future!  We've been married for over 13 years and the secret to keeping the flame burning is investing in our relationship!

I wore this ensemble to work last week at Madewell.  I'm currently obsessing over these jeans. They're the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans that I've been wanting for quite some time now.  I actually wore them on our date as well.

What a glorious weather forecast this pass weekend.  We headed to Slippery Rock for my oldest daughter's cross country meet on Saturday and enjoyed cheering her on!  When we arrived back home after the meet I took a nap to re-energize myself because I was headed to work later that evening.  Sunday was a easy day with catching up on some Lagelle work and getting ready for the week ahead.

I'm looking forward to the cooler weather that is coming our way in a couple of days!  Before you know it the leaves will start to change and fall.  Autumn is one of my favorite seasons because of cooler days, dressing in layers, eating homemade soup and the foliage just to name a few.

I wore this ensemble to work sometime last week. This blouse has an attached pussy cat bow but I decided to tuck it in for a less fussy neckline.  I hope everyone is having a great week so far.

I had a great weekend in NYC with my family.  My hubby and I attended a wedding that was held at St. Patrick's Cathedral.  It was such an inspiring ceremony and the reception didn't disappoint either.  My hubby was able to reconnect with fellow colleagues from his recent MBA program.  I don't get back home often enough and it's always a treat to spend sometime there.

The weather has been cooling down some and it's been so lovely!  We're headed to NYC this weekend for a wedding and the best part of it all is I get to see my bff.  Friday is ladies night as we plan on going to the movies to watch 'The Butler' once I get there.

I hope everyone enjoyed the long holiday weekend.  My girls are enjoying their second week of school already.  I've been noticing how it's getting dark earlier and before you know it will be daylight savings time again. It's always a bummer to lose so much daylight though.  I enjoyed the cooler temps yesterday as I walked to my daughter's school to volunteer.

Happy Labor Day!  I can't believe summer is officially over at this point. Children are back in school and public pools are officially closed at the end of today.  I'm looking forward to Fall.  Fall is one of my favorite seasons because of the cooler weather and the beauty of seeing the foliage change.

I'm working today but I'm looking forward to a weekend gateway away this Friday, Sat and Sunday to NYC.  We are headed there for a wedding and I will get to see my bff while I'm there.  I wish we could stay longer!

I wore this ensemble to work yesterday. I love tomboy looks. I'm quickly accumulating a small collection of vintage men's ties that I try to incorporate as often as I can.  I recently won this pair of Madewell Rivet & Thread boyfriend jeans at work for a contest I participated in. I'm obsessed with them, I've been wanting a pair of boyfriend jeans for quite some time now and these are just prefect in every way!

The girls had a great first week back to school.  Midori has a Cross Country meet today and then a family cousin is coming into town tomorrow for a short visit.  I'm off today but will be running some errands and playing catch up.  I work this weekend but looking forward to next weekend already.  We'll be making a trip to NYC for a wedding and I get to see my bff, yeah!

Today is day three of back to school for the girlies and they are super excited to be in school.

Today was the first day of preschool for my baby girl and tomorrow is the first day for my oldest daughter, she's entering the 4th grade.  I can't believe summer is wrapping up.  We went thrifting today and scored some great duds for back to school and just because.  I'm headed to work this evening at Madewell, we're receiving a lot more Fall shipment today.  I'm excited to see what we got.

I wore this ensemble to work at Madewell last Friday.  I realized my retro chic look after pulling it all together.  I've been trying to prefect my hair braided this way for a while and I'm happy how it turned out.

I'm off to traffic court today to fight a ticket that I shouldn't have gotten. I paid for parking but still received a ticket?  

We're hoping to enjoy some family time at the pool today and visit the Children's museum on Thursday for our last summer outings.  My girls head back to school next week.
