       the lowdown:      

Yesterday was my oldest daughter's birthday and she enjoyed a beautiful day filled with a hair salon appt., cake & ice cream, gifts and spending time with her grandma while she's in town.  Her official birthday party kicks off this Saturday.

I wore this ensemble yesterday and I was aiming for effortless boho casual.  I love those summer looks that evoke easy breeziness. I did want to mention that I purchased the now crop top as a nightgown off of Ebay and cut it to the desired length and hemmed it by hand.  I believe it turned out well!

I never thought I would be wearing anything remotely from the 80s but look at me now!  I grew up during the 80s and I recall not liking the fashions at the time especially Acid wash denim, funny right?  I guess it takes time and some peer pressure to give it a go.  Anyway this is what I wore yesterday to run some errands with the girlies <3

I'm really a boho kind of gal

I had a great weekend filled with friends & family supporting my at my first event of the season. It went well but now I have to replenish my sold items and get ready for my next two shows ;-)  I will be posting some photos of that fashion event I eluded to during my last post (I'm really excited to share, soon).  This is what I wore yesterday.
