I had a busy weekend working and I'm looking forward to catching up on some much needed rest.  Saturday was a beautiful sunny day but Sunday was full of rain which is necessary for all the beautiful May flowers.  I keep checking on my lilac bush to bring some in the house and when I went to check on it today the lovely smell of the fresh blooms were so heavenly.  I think in a few more days more will open up so I can take some inside to enjoy.

TGIF!  I don't have any exciting plans this weekend but I'm working today at Madewell and we're having our 1 year anniversary celebration tonight from 6-8pm at Ross Park Mall.  There will be complimentary cocktails, giveaways and a raffle drawing.  I hope you can make it out!

I'm so excited my lilac brush is doing well this year and it has lots of blooms!  That means I get to bring some into the house to enjoy, yeah.  I miss the garden at our first house, it was pretty awesome.  There was something in bloom all Spring/Summer long.  

On a side note Madewell at Ross Park Mall here in Pittsburgh is celebrating it's one year anniversary this Friday from 6-8pm with cocktails and a fun raffle.  I hope you can you join me to celebrate our one year anniversary!

I'm loving all of the plush green grass and Spring blooms right now!  Today is my baby girl's birthday and she turns 3.  We're celebrating at home and will be taking her to the Children's Museum on Friday. She is such a joy to me!

I'm so happy that the weather is starting to break and Spring flowers are just delightful!  I hope everyone had a great weekend. I enjoyed being part of the Vintage Mixer this past Saturday at the Heinz History Center.  We had a great turn out, I was able to move some merchandise and meet some great people. I look forward to doing it again next year!

I'm back from my epic Puerto Rico gateway!  I had an amazing time with my bestie celebrating my birthday.  

She happened to meet Maxwell on the flight to PR and got extended an invite to a private wedding reception.  We managed to get in and to our amazement Mary J. Blige, Fat Joe, Khloe Kardashian, Marc Anthony, Bee Bee Winans, Eva Longoria , Maxwell and more were all party of the attendees at this celeb wedding.

We danced the night away to a great mix of jams by DJ Cassidy.  I spent my actual birthday yesterday with my loved ones here in Pittsburgh.  I'm grateful for all my blessings and especially my hubby and lovely girls.

I'm so excited to do a guest post for Tye while she is celebrating her birthday. Happy Birthday! I decided it was time to pull out one of my favorite skirts since it goes so great with crop tops. Considering it's about 73 degrees in Pittsburgh today I just couldn't resist!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It seems like Spring weather is finally trying to come our way but I'm off to the Caribbean this weekend to celebrate my upcoming birthday with my best friend.  I have most of my things picked out already.  I just need to put them in my suitcase and off I go.  I can't wait!  Talk to ya soon.

I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!  I spent time with my family at church and enjoyed a delicious home cook meal that was prepared by the dynamatic dual (my hubby & I).  The girls were delighted to paint Easter eggs too.  The meal also included an amazing homemade Pecan pie baked by the amazing Mister.  Yes I'm a blessed gal.

On another note my trip to Puerto Rico is quickly approaching, I leave on Sat. = Yippee.  I can't wait to take it all in. That's all for now and Happy Monday.
