Where should I begin, hmm perhaps w/thank you to all my loyal readers for being patient during my transaction of being a new mommy for the 2nd time! Now to share my excitement and inspiration of the lovely Esperanza Spalding. I saw her in concert at the Byham Theater yesterday evening and I am truly lost for words. Her music lifts up your soul and instantly takes you to a happy place of joy and serenity. She is a native of Portland, Oregon, an amazing Bass player & her vocals are so angelic. I was honored to meet her after her performance and spoke w/her in Spanish. She was so down to earth and it made me proud to be fan & solidifies my love for her music. Not only is she a great musician but her personal style is just as intriguing. I love her natural hair and her "this is who I am" persona.
