Today is my oldest daughter's birthday. We started celebrating with a special breakfast and later on she requested homemade egg salad sandwiches for lunch.  We have other special things planned as well.  I enjoyed last weekend in NYC with my mom, dad and extended family.

Today was such a beautiful day!  I woke up to the sun and cool breeze streaming through my window.  I enjoyed some reading on my front porch as well.  I had back to work tomorrow after two days off.

Come the Spring/Summer and I really enjoy wearing free flowing pieces!  I actually scored the now top I'm wearing in the photos above on Ebay but it was originally a nightgown and I cut & hemmed it to a crop top.

It's always hard to get back into the swing of things once you've been gone for a while.  As I've eluded to before life has been difficult and updating my blog hasn't been on my priority list.  I am looking forward to visiting my dad & mom for Father's Day weekend, which is coming up very soon!

Not too bad of a weekend weather wise but I did spend it working.  This week is my birthday and the Vintage Pittsburgh Mixer event which I will be a vendor at.  It's the 2nd year for me selling my vintage wears at this fabulous event.  I had a great time last year and I'm hoping to see you all there.  I will be posting my details here soon but it's this Sat. April 12th from 10am-3pm at the Heinz History Center.

I'm enjoying another day off today.  It's raining but they say April showers brings fourth May flowers and I love flowers!  I'm spending some time later today volunteering at my oldest daughter's school.  I've been meaning to mention that I'm a vendor at this years Vintage Pittsburgh Mixer being held at the Heinz History Center on Saturday April 12th from 10am-3pm.  I hope to see you there.

Today is one of my days off and I'm going to catch up on some laundry and other chores around the house.  I spent most of my weekend working.  I hope your weekend was more eventful and don't get me wrong I actually love what I do as a stylist so no complaints here!
