My floppy hat has been my go to accessory as of late.  This day I went to Macy's to purchase a Clinique lipstick I ran out of. I'm in love with this pretty pink shade for the Spring/Summer season.  Did I mention I'm so looking forward to Spring, please come!

After thrifting this beauty of a skirt, it hit me how fortunate I am to live in Pittsburgh where finding gems like this is still not too rare.  Thank you Pittsburgh! It even had a hem allowance that I let down for more length.  I love my maxis to graze the floor.

Spotted wearing:   On a sunny day in Shadyside getting my hair done.

The day I wore this outfit it was sunny and brisk which still equals happiness.  I got my hair trimmed and highlighted for my upcoming trip to PR. 

I noticed that wearing light makeup can achieve a more youthful appearance.  I decided to go very light this day.  That's all for now.  TGIF

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I didn't do anything to exciting as I was nursing a mild cold that was given to me by my lovely daughters.  I think I'm at the end of it now.  Anyway I looking forward to a new week and hoping for consistent Spring like weather soon!

I felt like Beyonce with my hair blowing in the wind, that's why it looks a little unruly.  On a side note I was going to get rid of this blazer and hadn't worn it in over three years.  I got so many compliments today and besides that I really do love it again so I'm keeping it.  I can't believe it's Thursday already.

Yes I wear glasses and yes it was still too cold to not wear tights but oh well.

I realized after I got dressed and left the house this morning that I got the weather forecast mixed up. I thought that today was going to be much warmer than it was, yikes. I was inside so I didn't freeze. I'm just ready for Spring weather!

Wow what beautiful weather we had this weekend! I enjoyed it by going to estate sales, getting frozen yogurt as a family and being outside with my girls.  The girls are sick but they still enjoyed themselves.  Spring can't be too far away now!

Gosh we got more snow today and I'm sick of it already! The good thing it's pretty much melted away by now because the temps have been above freezing and sunny.  I plan on enjoying my weekend, it's suppose to be in the 50s and sunny on Saturday.  Do you have any weekend plans already?

Spotted wearing:  To Premiere Pittsburgh screening of Versailles '73

I was thoroughly inspired by the overall evening of the Versailles '73 screening!  It was great energy, good conversations and beautiful people gathered together to support this independent film that informs us of how 12 African-American models opened the doors for diversity in the modeling industry. 

I plan on purchasing the film soon and sharing this inspirational American story with my daughters.
