Lovely shades of purple

Feeling festive

This weekend was filled with lots of excitement! My big girl Midori performed in her 1st ballet recital and unforunately we were not allowed to take pictures per the dancers union? I was so proud of her and shed some tears as I watch her perform.  I also went on a much needed date with my awesome hubby.  We've been so busy and realized when you play hard you must play hard!  This is what I wore yesterday:

My love for silk scarves

I've always had a love for a lovely silk scarf but I think I've been won over yet again.  These days bold, vintage silk scarves have captured my heart! I prefer them over necklaces any day.  I do regret getting rid of some a while back for no other reason then downsizing.  I guess there was a time when I stop wearing them for a while but their so classic and chic you can't go wrong wearing them so I'm starting to keep my eye out for them at local thrift stores or 2nd hand boutiques.  This is what I wore yesterday:

Home sweet home! I've been on the road for the past two weekends selling my Lagelle accessories.  I got to meet some great people and visit some cool cities too!  I was excited to meet Sing of Singature Style blog.
